I hope never to do anything boring.
.....
That was my reply last night to Adam’s "don't die boring". (He keeps insisting that if I die in India that it should be something spectacular like mauled by cow. All I ask is that it be because of my faith.)
And though I intended to mean that in Christ every moment is an adventure. I've discovered God listened too exactly.
First, last night I couldn't leave an airport without incident.
And now I almost couldn't board a train without a mad rickshaw race to the RIGHT train station.
You see, there are two stations in New Delhi... And apparently i was wrong when I assumed which station it was from... so when I arrived thirty minutes early and couldn't find my train, i started a bit. Yet to m rescue was an auto rickshaw driver who made me this deal: "you board train, 250 rps." which took me a minute to agree to, since it was 4 times the normal rate, but it ultimately seemed a small price.
so after 20 minutes of high speed turns, some of which felt like we were on two wheels, and one near crash, I made it.
To which I found my seat changed... Luckily in the same train. And even in the same box... Just on the other side. And instead of a top bunk. I was given a middle bunk.
Oh the life I live. Always interesting... Rarely boring. How truly blessed i am.
