Send out the Search party... NO DON'T

So I was sick for a short time, and so I didn't attend morning prayer, work or evening prayer on tuesday, and I didn't go to morning prayer or the morning shift on wednesday... but luckily I showed up for the afternoon shift... the Sisters had gotten worried and apparently Sr. L had planned to come find and visit me Wednesday morning when I didn't show for prayer.

But she had something come up at the last minute so I was spared the embarrassment of having a magnanimous action directed towards me.

I love how much these Sisters love! They are Amazing... It's like having 100 people always aware of you, and always alert to your needs. One of the sisters thougth I looked pale so she gave me some Korean vitamins (which immediately incurred the desire of one of my Korean coworkers, who saw them and wanted them, because they're apparently very good, but as I can't read Korean I'll take their words for it.).

It's funny having the Sisters. They give me Korean vitamins, Japanese cold packs... and who knows what's next...

They're so amazing! God has truly blessed me in coming here and living such a life.

When I showed up for orientation, the Sisters gave me another special mission (another to only be know in heaven). Each of these they give me inspires a sensation I can't explain. It's from knowledge of being unworthy, honored at being chosen, and trust in God and His promise to make all things new and complete.

The pictures are from a trip the Sisters and I took to visit a volunteer in the hospital. He has Hepatitis E and has to return home. Hepatitis E! I was surprised when their was a C! Oh the new diseases I hear about daily... (I heard of a rare form of Malaria the other day, that immediately coincides with Hepatitis C and some other nasty diesease, and is considered extremely fatal. In most parts of the world, the woman would have died, and if the blood work had taken 24 hours longer she still would have. The doctor is apparently amazed that she is pulling through and he's an internationally known tropical disease specialist.)

Oh what diseases are dwelling within my body...
